As part of a new school construction, the project managers and architects decided to install LED light fixtures to the administration and science buildings as part of their overall energy reduction scheme.
The Artemis Panel fixture was selected as the best solution for its aesthetic parabolic lens and wide distribution. Following installation there was a nice sense of light following installation creating a noticeably better visual learning environment that helps improve clarity, reduce fatigue and increase the sense of security. With a long lamp life of 50,000hrs it is expected to have 12 years of maintenance fee operation eliminating the relamp cycle with fluorescent fixture
As a part of the upgrades the sports field lighting was also updated with the Eagle Eye Series of LED streetlights
Results
- Eliminated the relamp cycle with an estimated 12 years of maintenance free operation
